Why is this Important?
Ancient Egyptian Warfare is important for three reasons: it provided protection for the Egyptians, it helped expand their territory, and it made their civilization last longer. First, if there were no protection for Egypt, they would have been permanently destroyed by their enemies. As a result, important things may not have happened like the first ever recorded peace treaty, first glass-making, the first known surgery, and many more accomplishments. Next, by expanding their territory the army helped make Egypt stronger and more powerful thus shaping the picture of the world at that time. Most importantly, by constructing a powerful military system, Ancient Egyptians were able to survive longer as a civilization thus contributing greatly to all civilizations in the areas of agriculture, architecture, technology, etc. This is why I think Ancient Egyptian Warfare is very, very, important to our world.
